AWD Problem

Make sure the awd button lights up when in gear. If not it could either be a bad bulb or not getting a completed circuit from the gear position switch in the shift box. If it lights up you can take a simple test light probe, ground one end and check that the gray wires leading down to each hub have power. Jack up all 4 wheels if you can and see if one or both front wheels doesn't turn.

Just got on it and saw that the bulb isn't even lighting up anymore. -_-

The system has to have three things that work together for the awd to engage electrically. The shift switch has to send power to the awd button. The bulb actually helps complete the circuit to the hub wires. You can check for a burnt out bulb by pulling the awd button and pulling the bulb from the rear. It's a very small bulb! Just turn it 1/2 turn to pull it out. At the same time you can use a test light to see if power is getting to the button wires by the gear shift switch. All these connections terminate on the front circuit board. Dirt Cheap Yamaha, Honda, Arctic Cat & Polaris OEM Parts & Accessories – Cycle Parts Warehouse
