2002 Polaris Sportsman HO coolant issue
#12
Very understandable! Yes it is a 500 and I will do that tomorrow. Im using 50/50 prestone green coolant, thats fine right? Also, I want to change my plastics because I have yellow and want the olive green (yellow isn’t for me at all) and I found some plastics on ebay (people must think they are made of gold) and I just want to simply know how the hell you get the front fender on over the handlebars.
Front fender will make it over the stock bars, it's a very tight fit but can be done. You'll have to get creative but it can be done.

No painting advise, not something I do. And if I do paint, it usually needs repainted!!!! Any more questions on your rig and I'll try to help, but painting and me usually argue!!😀😀 and I lose!

I've never taken the front cab off but I think you have to turn it sideways to get it over the handlebars, one end at a time. Good luck. If you paint your plastic use plastic paint and scuff the plastic so it will stick. Proper preparation pays plenty. I'll let people who've actually done it tell you. I've seen something about it the general forum, but if you can't find it there you can ask again.
