Default Aluminium on Scrammy

I was bored today so I took a magnet just to check what parts on my 2000 scram that were aluminium. to my surprize the rims are but what moron decided to paint them silver ?
the guard in front of the rad is also so are the 2 bars that come down in front that the nose piece mounts to and the floor boards. Now to my question has anyone thought of getting all these parts sand blasted and polish them up especially the rims and rad guard. just wondering if anyone had the same thoughts.

The factory powdercoating can be a bear, but well worth the effort.

I sandblasted the rad. gaurd on mine. I couldn't get all the powdercoat off and didn't want to end up pitting the aluminum. so instead i just painted it aluminum color.

Seems to me I remember getting most of it with aviation grade paint stripper. Then getting the remaining stubborn areas with glass bead blast.
