I haven't personally tried it, but if you are going to spend that kind of money for a new clutch, do yourself a favor and get the comet.

The Polaris clutch is pretty much a clone of an older Comet design. Unless you're using your quad in competition, I can't really imagine that new Comet being worth that kind of money. Why do you say you need a new clutch. Are you sure it doesn't just need a rebuild?

That is true 95, but the comet lays claim to put 25% more power to the ground over the Polaris replacement, for a few bucks more it would be worth the comet to me, but I like power also... so

the reason i am buying a new clutch is because the sheaves have a groove wore in them and it causes a bog down low , i have rebuilt it but still isn"t 100% , the sheaves are wore so bad that i can"t get proper belt clearance, the polaris clutch is $400 canadian and the comet is $625 decisions decisions!

If money is tight, I would look at getting a used clutch and rebuilding it. Possibly using the internal parts from yours if it was recently rebuilt. I know Comet claims 25% more power to the ground. I just find that a little hard to believe.

If you could find a company in Canada similar to Kinetic, your clutch could be re-built, possibly if the grooves are not way too deep. Oh yeh, $125.00 US.
