New ATV Service...

Exactly what does the dealer do to the ATV on the first service. They told me to bring both my ATVs in after the first 10? hrs. Whatever they do, they want 75.00 a piece to do it. Is it necessary? Or can I do it myself. Thanks for the help...

Yes you can do it yourself all they do is check it over grease it change the oil and air filter if needed check for loose nuts check your valve lash the chain (if you got one).
Just a general check-up and if you notice something yourself like something not acting right they check that too.
If you notice something not right with your quad bring it to them But if everything is ok then there is no need to take it to them if they are a good dealer it should not bother them that you do the work yourself for the check-up I know my dealer is a good guy and does not mind me doin the work I even use aftermarket products such as fram filters and castrol oil and he still does the warranty work on my bike without hesitation.
But again depends on the dealer.
Have a good one

You do not neeed to have a post delivery check to keep your Polaris in warranty. Polaris will honor your warranty through the warranty period. We dont charge for the check however if the customer wants one. Just the oil and filter.

My dealer does a complete free service at 500 miles. They are going to go over the machine with me as they do all the servicing to show me were the things are and the proper tools to use. So in the future i can do it myself.
They are the best dealer i have ever seen, as most i have dealt with it is buy the quad and you are on your own type of attitude. I agree though the first one should be free.
