oops, Does anyone know of a proven-by first hand experience clutch kit for the sp 600??? I know that there are several availible, but
have been reluctant to get one so far. I'm looking to improve acceleration, and get rid of that annoying slow enguagement and
"clunk" that the stock primary clutch has when accelerating from a stop... I do mostly trail riding, and some atv pulls in the summer.

I have driven a 500 ho with the heelclicker kit in it and it pulled very hard from the start to finish. I was very impressed with it.

 

i put the clutch spring kit from dalton on my 04 sp600 after i put 26 589s and lost alittle bottom end, it gave it back [bottom end] the engagement is a little higher, it can do wheelies preety good to,i got mine from rick ritter.

 

Did you install the clutch kit yourself? was it just a spring for the primary clutch???

 

yes,i installed it my self, it was just the primary and sec springs,took about an hour.
