What does the '04 Sportsman 400 have for a hitch reciever? I didn't pay very close attention, but does it have somewhere that you can hook a hitch ball onto or is that extra? I'm looking for light duty towing - portable fish house. Thanks.

 

Hey fishnaddict i just bought a 04 Sportsman 400 and 500 and yes both of them come with a hitch where you can put a ball. Hope this helps and the sportsmans can really pull so weight.

the Sportsman does have a spot to put a ball.....but it actually is too close to the machine for using some of the trailers jacks.....If you use a trailer you can just lift on it, it works fine.....i built an extension for mine so i could hook up my bigger triler
