anyone want to guess what the horsepower will be on the sp700? maybee 45-50 at the primary clutch and 32-38 at the rear wheels?? sounds possible to me and if its built like that it will fly.

according to my dealer, the production 700's are suppose to be just over 50hp at the crank! that means 30hp at the rear wheels! The motor is spose to be 4lbs lighter than the 500! He couldn't tell me whether it had dual carbs or not.If it does it'll really haul @ss!!

 

32 hp at the crank 18 hp at rear wheels is what ive heard

 

You guys ae joking yourselves, the Sportsman 500 with ebs has 46 hp at the prim. clutch. And 32 at the back wheels. I am not joking it is on the polaris web site. I know that is aa ton o horse on the ground. I dont know how much the magum has

that sounds like it will be one fast machine, the sp700, i hope polaris beefs up the powertrain to take the extra hp. i cant imagine a sportsman with 30 RWHP like a missle.
