Aeen Clutch kit 700 EFI

Default Aeen Clutch kit 700 EFI

Not real impressed with the Aeen kit I just installed. Can't get it to shift while the motor in running. Bike wants to creep at an idle, you have to hold the brake. To go from low to high or reverse you have to kill the motor. I pulled it apart and put the factory primary spring back in and left the 53 ounce weights and still the same thing happens.
I didn't install the shims in the secondary, anyone know what they do?

Sounds like a problem my machine had.....I didn't have a clutch kit but both my primary and secondary needed shimming.......install the shims and see what happens helped mine a bunch
later

thats what i thought was wrong with mine. i took it all apart my bearings were locked up [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img]

Not sure how to take secondary cluth apart to install shims. Pulled spring and weights back out and put stock ones back in, for now.

i had same problem on 02 500 h.o..........turned belt around took care of problem. good luck
