my situation was kind of backwards though. you have a modified 700 against a stock 500. i have a modified 500 against a stock 700. sorry to offend you if i did.

 

Not offended at all [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]. My 700 was stock when I raced some 500's. I would say your modded 500 might give a stock 700 a good race but not eat it up like its standing still. It would be close unless there was something wrong with the 700.

 

the whole metaphor about the standing still was for good reason. the guy had a 700 with a pretty toasted belt. i probably wouldnt stand a chance against you. but i have tied a Warrior 350, and beat my dads Rincon 650 on takeoff. i do not doubt that your machine is fast. or any 700 for that matter. but i do think i could give a stock 700 a good run. plus you do have to remember the displacement gap. i am 200 cc's under any 700 out there. i know my machine is fast. maybe not as fast as yours. but it is still quick for a 500 that weighs 700 pounds.

 

In my experiance its not even close and mines pretty much stock against a stock 500 HO, even giving a half second delay on the start i'm passing in a hurry running away. Not trying to start anything either, 500s are cool.

 

brainiac213 how did you take off youe ebs and if i waned to keep it what color spring would i get from hotseat or HC?

 

i swapped the clutches with ones off of a scrambler. they bolt right on. but i dont know about what color spring to get from those two companies.
