what is the best kids atv
Both my kids started on yamaha breezes, they are 125cc 4-strokes,with auto trans and reverse. they also have electric start(and lights). The Breeze isnt real fast but can keep up with adult quads on a trail(family type riding). I was amazed how well they can climb hills and even get thru mudholes(for a 2 wheel drive) Top speed was 35 mph or so. With a 40 mile range. We had them for 3 years (bought new in 2001)with quite a few hours on them, the only problem (not really a problem but will be if you dont do it) was the intake valves do tighten up. If you keep up on your valve adjusts they are fine. I set ours once a year. They start hard and then idle poorly when the valves tighten up. One of them had tight valves brand new. Its a nice quad for new riders because they dont need to worry about shifting gears or killing the motor as they learn and concentrate on the trail other quads and such.
My son moved up to a blaster and my daughter lost interest. The blaster is a great quad to move up to,once the kids have a handle on riding. They are looking for more power and more of a challenge. The breeze has been around a long time and I think the 125 Grizzley is based on the Breeze chassis and motor.
