Broken Brake lever Sp 500 , Question

If you just broke the lever itself, it is an easy fix and cost $15 for a new Polaris lever. My wife broke hers on a roll over. Just remove the screw and nut and remove the old one and pop the new one in. Takes about five minutes. Make sure you didn't crack the master cylinder or the housing holding the brake lever.

Thanks Magnum,
I ordered the lever yesterday and it was $25.00 no deals at my dealer. The master cylinder seemed ok, no cracks that I could see, and no leaks. Hope I can get back to riding again this weekend. It was fun with just a footbrake, coming down the mountain, good thing for EBS. I will just have to stay off of the blue trail. Its more like a goat path.

I too had to ride my wifes atv with only the footbrake in the hills. After she wrecked it, I switched machines with her. Its real fun coming down some hills with only a footbrake when your buddies insist on stopping for a chit-chat at the bottom of the hill. Can you say "Get the Hell out of the Way".
P.S. Your dealer is sticking it too you for $25. I sent my wife to Don Wood Polaris in Athens, OH and they only charged 14.99 for the brake handle. Since we were out of town and needed the part, they could of stuck it to her on that part. Sorry to hear your dealer soaked you for the $10.
