Default New Race Mod Complete :)

All I can say is wow! It ran like a beast. And I'm just running premium pump gas. I can only imagine what it's like running the 15:1 head. And I can tell I'm running way rich. I broke it in using the red/yellow spring then put the blue primary and wow even more power. It runs real good for around 5 minute and then the power just kinda goes down a bit.I had this same problem when I got the Trail Mod jetted in. The plug is a dark dark brown so I imagine it's pretty rich. What do you race mod guys run for main jetting? I've got a 172 main and the needles in the 4th position. I am extremely please with the results and am not even thru getting the most power yet. This thing launches like a dream too. I raced a few bikes and could launch with the best of them. Another thing that amazes me is the top end power and speed of this thing. I was putting lenths on bikes. The longer the race the more distance between us.

Rick, thanks for another great job.

Congrats Duneaholic, glad you like the increased power. I would say the main jet is fairly close, if you are running the eeg needle, I'd move the clip to the center and see how it runs!

The eeg is a little richer needle. I'd leave it in the 4 spot then and try going down to a 170 if you plug is looking rich! What pilot jet are you running?

Whatever it comes with it from HPD. All I know is it's really rich. It stumbles like crazy until it hit the needle.

I'll look when I go to change the main jet. I think I'll try a 170 and then do a plug chop.

I'm running the BR8ES plug. Is this the one you're talking about? The "R" means resisitor right? I'm gapped at .028.

Wayout. If you ever had reservations about going to race mod then don't. You won't regret it.
