Default trailblazer clutching?

Hey FTWFLH,

I have a 99 sport 400 stock. Will the white spring do the same with mine? I did change the rear sprocket and went up 4 teeth. It helped but i dont want to do a clutch kit. Can i just change the spring? How easy is this?

Thanks,
Bob

bisho12 your bike should have a white spring in it.But you could try a polaris green and see what you think.

TK its pretty easy just pull the cover off, theres about ten screws holding it on.

then the clutch spring is held in by one lasrge bolt and eight smaller ones, remove these, change spring and reverse removal process. just be sure you get the clutch cover seal in good or you willl get water in the clutches making them slip.

my description may not have been the best but its real straight forward when you get the cover off.

I thought the blue green came on the 99 sports? the spring itself is not totally white just the tip of it looks dipped in white paint.

also check epi and dalton they have some good aftermarkets.
