Default is this a crock of bull or what

I've decided to see what 06 brings, ride the Trail Boss through the summer and buy just before hunting season. i think I will give the manager of the dealer a call. this is one of the oldest dealers in our area but they seem to have gone down hill in the past couple years, showroom is cluttered and dirty, staff seems to not be as courtiouse (sp) as in the past and parts is a nightmare if you need to order something, which every part is a special order it seems. They have a huge inventory of motorcycles and quads, wonder how this outfit stays in business? I bet if I were to walk through the door waiving my check book they would fall allover them selves trying to get to me.

Yep...that is a bunch of crock. Though I ride kawies, even I know that polaris belts systems are the best and if a polaris frame breaks.....then there must have been some massive abuse. He is just throwing out trash and not facts. If they were really coming in twice a week, ask him to see the shop log and of each brand has come in and for what. I bet he will start back peddling real fast.

"Then he tops it off by telling me that their shop changes the frames on Polaris machines a bunch ,at least two a week"

Doesn't surprise me at all. The scrambler has one of the weakest front ends that I have seen. I have seen several frames that have broken at the A-arm (mine included). It's just a bad design. It is a weak point. It didn't keep me from buying mine, and wouldn't stop me from buying another, but if you check around, you will probably find a lot that have been welded.

That may be true for the scrambler, but the sportsmans should not have any problems with the frames. They are the strongest frames and that is where the extra weight comes from. Again.....if a sportsman's frame breaks it is probably due to massive abuse.
