Default Older Trailblazer 250s, they anygood?

I found a Trailblazer 250 for sale down the street. Doesn't say year or price, so Im asking if it is even anything I should look into. White plastics and green racks and such. Any big problems with this machine. How about upgrades? Are the old and new plastics interchangable? Please enlighten me, lol. It might be a 1996. Not sure though. And, if no problems, how much should I pay for it?

Thanks.

Don't let the hp numbers fool you. Its all in how you get it to the ground. Clutching clutching clutching!

White plastic and green racks would be a 95-98 Trailboss 250 and for a starter quad they are ok but not alot of upgrades other than clutch parts.

i had a 98' and currently an 02'...i really dont like trailblazers that much just because of the problems ive had...but there fun to take and beat the hell out of to see wat they can take haha, but the older ones i would say arent any worse the the newers t/b...im almost positve that the old parts are interchangable becuase they havent changed the basic shape...BUT 96' was the first year of the trailblazer so i would imagine there might be little differences...if theres no problems and it IS a 96' then i would ask for about 1500...if u can get him down to lower that would be good...otherwise later then 96' just go up about 250 for every year above 96'

The only difference is the plastic. I had a '93 250 Trailboss that I sold 2 years ago. Only problem it ever had was the starter needing to be rebuilt (and the swingarm bushings were getting worn.) Got $1500 and people were fighting to buy it.

I have a 95 and a 2000 Trailblazers. The 200 and newer is 2" bigger everywhere and feels a LOT bigger. The newer one fits adults better and the older one is super for younger or smaller riders IMO.

Had the '95 in the mud last weekend - and you wouldn't believe what that sucker went through! My wife (not having fun) went through many places that the 4wd (3wd?) Honda were having much more trouble. I think the belt and a bit of momentum made all the diff. I was amazed!

Nope. I don't think that thing ever had more than new plugs, a belt and a clean air filter thrown at it. It belonged to a woman I started dating in '98 and it had been sitting outside, uncovered for almost two years after she split from her previous relationship. Put some gas in it, checked the oil and a few pulls later (battery was dead of course) it fired right up. I got it in the "divorce" (we weren't ever married) and she got the furniture I had paid for. I sold it to get my Xplorer because I wanted a 4x4.
