SPORTSMAN 500HO
#1
I have been reading and was already to buy a Trailboss 325. I sarted to think I need hi/lo maybe 4x4 maybe a little more ponies. So I went to the closest dealer that offered test drives. I'm pissed I had saved up enough money for the Trailboss and after I rode the Sportsman 500ho I gotta haveone!!! I was suprise at how big it was yet I could power slide it through the corners.(I have not rode a quad in 12yrs)Oh well I guess more over time is in my future. I started out just wanting a stress reliever now I need a SP500HO bright yellow nothing else will do. I rode the griz na! I have not rode the rubicon yet but I dont think it will change my mind!
Thanks guys for all the info Rowdy

If you are a Polaris fan, test drive a 400 Xplorer. Not as smooth a ride, but HI/LO, lighter in weight, and quite a bit of snap. Quite a bit cheaper, too. Easily sped up, too, if you don't mind a little more noise (pipe). Am waiting on a new Primary spring from Ritters but am told they do a world of good for $30, too, with no noise added.

i would also recoment the sp500ho, i saw one at my dealer and really like it.
3TV do u have the stock tires on your machine? i was wondering how it would affect doing powerslides with different tires, like mudrunners.
i heard from a little birdy that there will be a sp700 out before the the kawie650 hits the dealers floors. this is a very accurate source and im not making it up. i dont know specifically when, but i think the kawie650 comes out in february or march, so it will be before that.

A year and a half ago I bought a 325 TrailBoss
for my 10 year old son after an intense lobbying campaign. I rode it. One week later I bought a 325 Magnum for myself. This year we traded in the Trailboss for a 425 Expedition, then I bought an Arctic Cat 500 Auto and took it back after riding a Sportsman 500. The dealer took it back on consignment. The Cat only had 106 miles on it. I bought a Red Sportsman the same day. So now I have the best ride in 4-wheelers and absolutely love it-but- I want the H.O. cam and carb and a green clutch spring.
The Trailboss was a nice little entry level rig at a great price. The EXP is a serious ride for my now 12 year old son who has become a very competant rider. The Magnum is a good extra rig for wife or guests but no way can keep up with the big dogs. Save yourself some money. Buy the Sportsman first. Silly Later,,,,,Fourlix
NOTHING HANDLES AS GOOD AS A POLARIS. NOTHING RIDES BETTER THAN A SPORTSMAN.
