is it just me or do the exhausts on these look like the most restrictive things on earth?
i realize that i did not get a "sport" quad but really...the pipe on the kids phoenix 200
looks pretty good... but then again.. would the point be that it's more a utility thing?
too keep water out? i guess i could see that-

well then- are there any replacements that might be less restrictive?
i did a search here for sportsman pipes and found zip- just wondering-

I am pretty sure fmf has a utility series pipe but is it really worth the time and $ to buy a pipe for a utility quad.

I have an 03 Sportsman 400. The only pipe i can find for it is made by AAEN. Its not really expensive either. Here is the site.

I see that you have a pipe for a sportsman 400. Will that make it any louder? And how will that pipe work with a Jet Kit. I have the second smallest jet in right now but i can go three sizes bigger. What do you think.

Yes our full system and or our slip-on will make it louder. On the 400 sportsman's we found that they came pretty rich from the factory, and in stk. from you can jet them down 1 or 2 sizes with our kit we run stk. jetting on the 400's. Most people will not notice a performance differenace of 1 or 2 jet sizes on a 4-stroke though.
