Default New 800

Hi all,
My name is Andy (nick is Cutty). Not my first post but it is my first post since I picked up my new 800 a few hours ago! Sucker is sweet in Silver/Black color scheme. talked them into a winch for $100 which they reluctantly agreed to, but said they would not install it. I said fine. But I go pick it up today and lo and behold somebody had screwed up and installed the winch! I'm an old fart (48) who has been riding dirt bikes and street bikes all my life but this is my first quad. figured I might as well get the best! I have learned lots already from these forums. It's funny you can get a lot more knowledge here than at the dealer. Anyway I live in Northen California in the Bay Area. I picked up my Quad in Elk Grove near Sacramento (didn't see Arnold). Very nice shop they have there. Asked the shop guys if they ever had anybody complaining of cut tires from the new aluminum rims, they haven't had any complaint. Looking forward to participating here.

Thanks for the welcome guys. Don't like the sound of that sticky weather in Ohio, Steve, but it was 104 here yesterday with more expected today. But hey it's that dry heat (you know, like an oven!) Noticed on my 800 yesterday that the left muffler when viewed from the rear actually sits on the crossbar below it, the right side has about 1/4" clearance. Any body else notice this? I tried loosening the clamp on the cross pipe between the mufflers but really couldn't get the muffler to budge much even with the clamp loose.

I dont think it should be touching. 1/4 inch sounds too close also.
