Default Clutch how to? know how?

this is a -95 polaris 300 4x4

how do u swop out the clutch spring, and what clutch do you normally swap the spring in, or both? how hard is it to do? and is there any special tools needed? u may be able to tell i have little knowledge working on a clutch..

You can change springs with normal tools.But if you can say what pipe you are running we can help you more with the clutching.

ok well heres the deal,, old muffler rusted out a bit,, soooo took a glasspack and cut it to the same lenght, next welded a plate over the outlet. then cut a small hole near the end of the muffler and welded a downspout on it to be the new outlet. looks exactly stock.. but except it pretty much free flowing straight through exhaust, then rejtted it.. went from a 160 main to a 165.. seems to work good,, any sugestions with that setup? and know what to do with clutching>?

Put a white polaris primay spring in and go with it.

whats in there stock right now? what kind of differnce/improvements would this make? and where can i find one cheap? thanks a ton for listening to my dumb questions...

You should have a blue/green spring now.Best bet is to spend $20 at a dealer and get a stock primary spring for a 2000 400 Scrambler.It is what is called a white but looks plain with white paint on one end.

what improvments will this make and also, after i take of the housing to the clutches whats the simplest way to swap out the spring?

thanks a ton...

Take the center bolt out then the 6 smaller bolts change spring put parts back together.
