Heel Clicker Clutch Mod?
#11
Is there anything I could possible harm by doing this? Because if there is a possibility of something going wrong, I'll mess it up. What have people done to keep metal filings from getting into their clutch? How much material have other people had to remove on their clutches?

I'm a member over at the ATVQUADSQAD where you can buy the kit at a discount and its talked about alot there. Alot of people have installed this kit and not once have I heard of anyone messing up with the filing of the clutch. Like I have said a couple of times its a very small amount that you file and will NOT hurt anything.

Also with the metal shavings you can blow them out with compressed air. Have you looked on the heelcliker web site I think it shows how much material they removed. I wouldn't grind on the weights.

What is the purpose for the metal nut in the kit? I've heard that you should NOT install this and leave the stock nylon one in. Do you have to have the spider removed in order to install the nut?

Since you have a Non- ebs primary you don't have a nut so you don't have to worry about it. But for others with the ebs primary and are wondering, the metal nut is shorter and lets the primary shift out futher.
