I installed my clutch kit and ran the scrambler all weekend,i dont see much gain in performance...engagement is alot higher than stock and higher than it was with the polaris white primary.I like it better with the clutch kit but if i was doing it all over i would have spent the 400$ on wheels & tires or a rear fox shocks.conclusion,dont worth the money!!!

 

Who was the kit purchased from ?

Dale at Dalton Industries is about the best in the business as far as customer service goes . It is not uncommon for him to take a kit back with a full refund if you cannot be made happy .

The 500 scrambler is one of the hardest machines to modify and get good results from , this is why I don't offer a bunch of internal parts or services for it .

Hey Rick good anserw on the 500 Scrammy. You helped me get mine close to perfect when it was stock but when I modded it it took awhile to dial it in. You are THE man[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

I agree Rick, after I bought my sp700efi kit from you and was having some troubles dialing it in to the other clutch mods I made, Dale gave me his c# so I could get ahold of him over the weekend, he wanted me to be 100% satisified, and offered to refund my money if i wasn't. I will never think of dealing with another company for my clutch mods now, you both have gone above and beyond to keep my business. Thanks, Dan.

 

i ordered the kit from my dealer.I expected too much gain for sure...i think the exhaust system gave me more than the clutch kit did though.

Not much you can do to a 4 stroke to make BIG noticable seat of the pants performance gains like in a 2 stroke.
Usually the clutch kits are the best bang for your buck on 4 strokes.
