I don't have an ATV yet. I am looking at this as a first ATV and a learner. I ain't gotta whole lot of dough to throw down and this is why I'm leaning towards the 335. I will be plowing snow and bringing firewood in from the fields with it. I was initially looking at the Yamaha Kodiak. I thought about getting something you would have to shift, but then I remembered how lazy I am. So the key is automatic. I would also like to have a switchable 2/4wd with the usual hi/low/ reverse ranges. What'da all think?

It'll do fine for what you describe. I plow with mine also using a 48" Polaris plow. They are some-what under powered, but for pulling and pushing using low range it does just fine. Hillclimbing is it's weekness, you know the ones that you need alot of momemtum to make it up. Eveyone always ask me "Why didn't I get the 500?" Well, the 1400 bucks I saved on the 335, I got the winch, plow and other accessiores with money left over. Do I wish I got the 500? Sometimes yes, but most of the time, NO

Awhile ago,2 of my friends who ride the 335 Sportsmans took my 500 for a ride, they have regreted their purchases since. They had the extra cash for the 500s,however,the dealer was out of stock and sold them on the 335s.It sounds like your not a speed freak, you;ll probably be fine with the 335.
They really shi- bricks when the rode my 400cc 2-stroke Xplorer, that thing rocks for a 4x4,
