800 Sportsman rattling

I just got a 800 Sportsman last week-end. I am coming off a 01 400 Sportsman. I really like the power and the ride on the new Sportsman! The only thing I notice is that there seems to be a lot more rattling from the drive train than my 400. Is this normal? My dealer said that I would notice this coming off the older Sportsman. Are there other people experiencing this as well? The wheeler is brand new. I think I got 23 miles on it so far and really enjoy riding it!

I think the noise you're talking about is your ebs......Do you only hear it when you get off the throttle?????It's like a clanking noise in the drivetrain right???????If this is the noise your talking about it is quit normal so get used to it.......

the infamous clunk. all of the Twin's have it. when you decelerate or round corners does it sound like you have rocks in your gearbox? if so, then yes, its perfectly normal and everything is fine. its the slack in your driveline against the belt through your EBS system. (if you understood that)

DITTO!!!! My new 800 does the same thing. It sounds like the front gearbox has marbles in it. I havent ridden it enough to determine if it does it only on decelleration though. If it does it at other times, do I have a potential problem??????
