At the races here on sunday near Janesville Wi. Mr. Aaen himself was there competing. Riding an Aaen sport 400 rocketship. He's over 60, and still drag racing. I stopped in at his booth and shot the racing bull for 15 minutes, coming away with more good knowledge, and also just met a really great man.

How fast was his 400? Was it a timed track?

It was head to head dirt drags, and you had to request a slip yourself. I don't know any times.

Thats awesome. Was his quad tricked out with a custom frame/ suspension and such? Or was it rideable?
Wish I lived closer to some of these guys.

I used to run HPD mods on my 250 but then went to AAEN. I like AAEN better because the fit and finish was better. My 250 would easily beat a 400 up to about 55mph then it would hang about 3-4 quads ahead of the 400 with the top speed of 68mph. This was without the reed conversion. It was built more for hill climbing so top end was not as strong.
