Let's face it .. no ATV is particularly stable at those kind of speeds, but there are instances where you can get a good rip on the machine just to see how fast you can go. Everyone has their comfort zone.

The people who ruin it for others are the inconsiderate ones who always speed and tear around, not just when there's a nice open and vacant straightaway. You don't even have to be going fast to ruin things for everyone. Simply doing 25 or 30mph down a dirt road around houses stirring up dust and such certainly gets people pissed off. And let's be honest .. at 55 or 65, if you strike someone on the trail, or loose control yourself .. you're probably killing someone or yourself or both. So if speeding is that big of a concern, then get something that's not capable of going over 30 - 35 .. which is faster than I typically ride anyway ..

You wont regret your decision. It is one of the best ATV's out there today.
Also on another note. I DO NOT want to offend anyone, but for crying out loud, EVERYONE knows Utility ATV's aren't for going fast. Neither are trucks, and you cant tell me you dont or havnt driven it as fast as it could go atleast once. I know thats not a good example, but still, you guys are sounding like old folks. First off, if any of you were referring to me, i ride fast on my straight aways, and i ride "pretty much" on my own land, with my family/cousins. So its not like there is anyone around to offend. And i see nothing wrong with gunning it every now and then. Its so great to know/feel that you are on a 4x4 beast that can practically go anywhere and still have some very nice speed and acceleration. And its just really fun to go fast every now and then .. atleast to me.

Because when an ATV tops out at 55mph it leaves more to be desired in the power department, IMO at least. It's not about top speed with me really though , it's just knowing I have that extra power if I ever need it. Also that extra power helps you get there faster that's for sure---and really that's why I like a 700cc machine for it's better acceleration.
But it sure is fun knowing my KQ can go 72mph..eventhough I've only been brave enough to get to 65mph which felt awesome.

You will see all the new big bore atv's that are efi have rev limiters so that it does not exceed a certain speed limit. I can tell that my 500 efi can go faster if it was disabled. My old 500 magnum went a little faster than this but I have more power now. No one should worry about buying a new 500 efi because only the very early models have the problem. You can get it later to gain the hp.
