I think that there is som many polaris owners out with to much money that wont admit they have problems cause they can afford it.
what is the distribution of quads in this guy's neck of the woods? If polaris represents 60% of all quads in your area, certainly you'll see more polaris machines on the side of the trail... think about that before saying what brand you see most often on the side of the trail. I think polaris is #2 in atv sales right now.. can someone confirm this with data?

I have to agree with if i live in an area where theres alot more polaris atv`s then i would probally see more on the side of the road. Im not knocking them at all just saying what i know. My buddy has a preator no problems at all. Im looking a yamaha anyways i like the new big bear exploring edition it has irs. I just trust that what i have heard is true from people i know.

I think any machine is only as good as you maintain and treat it. I know that Jerry from atv-riders-paradise near the Hatfield Mccoy trail area has a 500 sportsman with 27,000 miles on it . REALLY. He said that the only things he has replaced has been belts ,tie rod ends, cv boots, tires, battery, and brakes. Not to bad for 27,000 miles. I own a 2003 modded 500 scrambler and I am looking to get that reliability from mine. I am crazy with the maintenance however.
