disabling EBS
#1
Anyone know if EBS can be disabled on a 2006 800efi. It is a little extreme. When going downhill I very rarely use brakes the wheels just lock up on their own and slide. I actually have to goose the throttle a little to get the wheels going again. I would rather just use the brakes. I think I would have better control. Any thoughts?

The primary clutches are all together different..ebs vs. non-ebs. Mostly the inner sheeves. Also ebs secondary have flat springs and no spun tension. Non-ebs secondary has notched springs that insert 1 end into the helix and 1 into the inner sheeve. The inner sheeve is then turn 1/3 a turn to put tension to the clutch. All together different designs...

Just put a belt on it that doesn't have the grooves cut in it for the ebs. Like a scrammy 500 belt
