Hi guys,

I have an 05 Sportsman 90 for my son and he noticed the oil light coming on when he is riding. The oil level is good and I tested it and noticed that at the point I let off after runnning at high throttle is when the light is coming on. Has anyone else experienced this? Any thoughts on why this is happening in terms of the oil pump not providing enough oil or is it related to letting off the throttle and causing a temporary lack of oil injection?

yes we have replaced several of the oil tank level indicators/sending units. talk to your dealer they may help.
