Hey waste im glad your back up and runing.Im glad up posted I was wondering if you got it running.But you need to stop useing the recoil to start it.Every time you pull start it your putting more crap in there and it wont take long and your recoil spring well be full of crap. p/s I hope the wife is a happy camper again to.

 

 

Sir, as an owner of a 04.5 500 I can understand your frustration as I had a similar problem on the trail last year. everything was fine then it cut out and would not restart. It turns out that our year came with a factory defect, it seems they pinched the spark plug wire between the frame and body. I have not read thru the thread so I do't know if anyone has mentioned this to you. It is a free fix . I would have been up the creek if it wasn't for the other riders offering help
