I have a 2000 Sportsman 500 EBS with a bad primary clutch, ( surprise ). Can i use a primary off a 700 EBS or is there a different angle of the clutch sheeves? anything else it is interchangable with? I dont want to go spend $400 on a new one so i'm looking to see what i can get used.

 

looks like the 500 clutch right up thru the yrs are the same pn# but the 700 is differnt pn# so im guessing the sheeves pitch is differnt. justa guess though.

 

check on ebay, theres at least 2 on there for the 500.
