stay with it n fix it , nobody wants ta buy it wid your probs .......jus kidding , hope ya get it goin ....

Default TB Starter Problems Among Others...

cdr, follow the big red wire from the battery, you will find the starter solenoid before you get to the starter.

I think I just shut of the fuel shutoff, and that was it . I actually stood the machine up like you were doing a wheelie.

Thanks Vig. That seems like the way I'll do it. Doesn't seem to be too hard from there. The starter is shot. I'm sure that last deeper muddle I went through didn't help it. It looks to be the origional one, so its time to change it out anyway. The pull start works great, but I just don't want to snap the cord out in the woods. I like to use that as a backup.

Default TB Starter Problems Among Others...

Well here's a little update. I didn't do anything with the starter and just used the pull start for the time being. Now all of a sudden the elctric starter is working again. I have used it about 10 times and it works great everytime. so I guess I'll just use it until it dies. Thanks again.

thats weird maybe it was makein bad connection some place or a wire got rubbed and came back to where it was setting an now its working

That's what I'm thinking too. Either that or there was something stuck in the starter and going through a river the other day helped free it lol.
