I installed a hpd medium performance clutch in my 2000 500 srambler..and i am not shure it helped.. The rpm gets up before it starts to move but does not take off very aggresive..while running at 3or 4 thousand rpm i will let off gas reapply gas and it makes a loud thud from the clutch engaging..Is this normal??Or just out of adjustment? thanks for any help..

When you installed the spring and helix in the drive clutch are you sure you tightened it enough before putting your snap ring in place? If you look at the instructions you got with the kit it will tell you how much to tight it.Good luck
