I just completed my break in period ( 10 hours) and i need to do my oil change.
In the book it talks about removing hoses to get to a filter in the hose or something... is this needed, or just empty the oil, replace the filter, and add more oil and call it done?
anything else i need to do?
thanks, erick</end quote></div>

im lie way out on this one as ive owned 6 sportsmans and never have to take off the screen. oh as far breaking in since i just bought this sp 400 and w/ 1 mile on it had it doing 49 mph to the handle bar (oops lol) you can see i drive it pretty much normal. the biggest thing is to keep alternating the rpm's and not drive at the same speeds and not hold it open for long time frames and you should be fine.
