all i know is if you make the mix then you have to disable and block off the oil tank and pump

Default 2 stroke gas and oil mix question

use only 2 stroke oil either way and it would be like 40 to 1 mix but i would stick w/ oil injection if it works or do what brutus said.

why would you wanna premix when the oil pump works? premixing is a pain and polaris oil pumps are good. guess its your choice.

I totally agree.
No need to disable the injection system unless you are dropping weight or have a high HP engine.

Most of the time when it is oil failure it is due to a bad cable

Default 2 stroke gas and oil mix question

Thanks for welcoming me into your forum and thanks for the info. I'm not going to mix myself now. The only reason I was considering mixing was a friend of mine said he wouldn't trust the pump when you could mix it yourself but I trust you all and your knowledge and once again Thanks for the help.

Greg
