I have a '98 sportsman 500. I'm getting no spark and thinking it might be the coil. Called the local Polaris dealer and they said $131.00 I said are you kidding? They said no. Anybody have any other sources, web sites or parts stores? Don't really want to dump that kind of cash and it turns out not to be the problem. Thanks

 

alot of times in the post that ive read, its been the stator thats the problem or some other issue. im not sure of the way but i think you could test these both if someone could look in a manual for ya. maybe harley(polaris tec) will chime in and tell you better.
