That was my main concern is I trailride in some pretty isolated forest areas in northern MN. although I always have other riders along, it still would be a hassle to deal with on the trail. I've never understood why Polaris could'nt put a recoil back-up on the twins. They put them on the MV versions and the sleds? A couple of my buds have 500's and are always "preaching" to us twin riders about the issue if we ever had problems with elect. start. New battery next week. Thanks for all replies.
