Maybe cause you flipped the tie rod.. I could not for a chance run them without spacers on my 26x10x12 on the fronts.

Here are some pics of my 2007 Sportsman 500 X2 with its new shoes, 27" ITP Mudlite XTRs mounted on 14" Vision 161 Bruisers.

Lemme tell ya, these things kick serious *** in the slop but are a little rough on hard pack. Regardless of any downfalls they may have, theyre way better than the stock Carlisle crapola.

SWEET. That's one NICE looking quad mcfly. Were the Carlisles 489s? 489s used to be good tires back when Titan made them. Really good for dirt and trails anyway. I always wondered if it would work okay to have 489s on the front and put 589s on the back. Maybe buy 2 new mud tires instead of four. But my Trailblazer was the only one that came with them. My 3 SP 500's all had better tires stock.

I went back to the begining of the thread to see all the pics. They all look good to me.

any problems with the fenders rubbing with the 27's, i was told last night by the dealer that 26 was the max size itp on the x2 or they would rub on the fenders. using spacers or are the rims offset?

I have an SP500 special edition with the aluminum rims. I believe they are 26x8R12 up front and 26x11R12 in back. Is it possible to put Maxxis Bighorns on these rims? I know the bighorns run large would I be able to get the 26 inch tires or would I have to go with 25? Also I wanted to run a wider tire up front than what is currently on there could I and what would I get?
I have no clue about tire sizes and offsets so any help would be great.

thanks

ivplay/Stendori,

how are you flipping the tie rod ends? took a look last night on the X2, trying to figure out what you did and how you are gaining clearance.

No spacers here. The Vision 161 Bruiser rims are considerably more offset than the stock deluxe rims. There is no problem whatsoever with any rubbing. They work great.
