I have a trail boss 325 real good for snow plowing. and ive had a lot of fun with it. But it may be time to move up with the big boys. I feel the need for speed. who has a suggestion.

If you're looking for a two wheel drive model, and going to stick with Polaris, you need to check out the Scrambler 2X4 400. It's a quick machine stock, but add a pipe and a clutch kit, and hold on.

Do you want 2x4 or 4x4,do you want sport or utility?
If you want 2x4 sport quad the Scrambler 400 is an excelant machine. The Scrambler 500 4x4 is a great 4x4 sport quad.
As far as utility quads go you can't beat the SP500 HO or the new SP400,both have the best suspension out there and more than enough power for most riders.

Or if you can't decide between sport and utility, consider the 400 Xplorer, the 400 Scrambler engine in a utility chassis. Mine does about 60, and will run right with a Grizzly, which is another fast machine (but rougher riding than a Polaris)

I have a scrambler 400 2x4, it does 70mph stock and when I have it wide open coming down the road it sounds like a pack of killer bee's.

LONG LIVE POLARIS!!!

No I can't say I have, I've rode with banshees before. They always lead the way on the trail, I can't imagine my scrambler taking one on in a drag, they have a top speed of 76mph.

I'll still keep my polaris, it has a better low end torque for pulling up hills and though mud.

Unless you want to modify it extensively, you are in the wrong forum. Go post in the Honda or Yamaha forum. There is no Polaris on this planet (stock) that can touch the sport machines from either Honda or Yamaha, by a long shot. Be prepare to spend money modifying if you want a Polaris to go fast. They can be lots of fun, but costly in the long run.

A Scrambler 500 is the way to go or the 400 if you want 2x4. They are faster than 60 my SP will hit 60 mph and a Scrambler will go by me. the 400 Xplorer is faster than 60 also they will beat the SP and from what I hear will beat the Grizz also.
