Internet explorer they can see the pictures but if anyone is using firefox they might not be able to see your pictures so they might just pass or not bother bringing Up IE.

It looks like the whole gear converter can slide back and forth to line up. I never would have guessed that. My brother's Sportsman 400 from back then must work the same way. He stores it 300 miles away and never rode with me so I haven't seen anything close up. I just know it has 3 chains, and gears everywhere.
I just realized I was the one person interested. I feel special and not the "rides the short bus" kind of special. LOL. Most people won't sit here 20 hours a day and reply to new posts. Now that I finally have my new 4-wheeler I should spend less time here. Better things to do now. Post some pics with the new tires Luda.

No no, that's the thing. It couldn't slide back and forth to line up because of the bolts that go through the oval part of it. I had to cut about 1/2" on right side (if you look at it from the front) for each bolt so it could be adjustable.
The frame doesn't look crooked at all (it would've broken before that), so I'm guessing that shaft somehow moved.. even though it has no play in it.
I'm getting my tires this friday hopefully. 100$ for custom duties though... argh.

I think I see where you made your adjustment. It looks like there's a space next to the bolts now. When I looked at the older pics I see where the bolts went in the grooves, and now I see I why it wouldn't slide over. The whole job is way more than I would ever tackle, but i think you guys got your money's worth out of it in 12 years.

Wow. It rides *****ing great. I went through water up to the bottom of the shifter lol.. I'd have never been able with the old tires.
The tires are definetely heavier, but the ride is just awesome now. It really goes through everything.
I'll go riding with a friend this weekend and try to get pics.
