Thats why I pay online. Most credit companies try this scam to charge ridiculous late fees and increase apr's. Give them time, though, and they'll figure out a way to scam online payers, too! Chase tries to....their website is often down, which can cause a late payment if you wait til the due date! Makes a person not feel sorry for them when so many people walk away from their credit obligations!
