It says ATV's have a 2 year limited. The dealer say 6 months.

What am I missing.

 

I only had 6 months on mine.

 

They run promotions from time to time extending the warrantee to 2 years as an extra sales incentive...the normal warrantee is 6 monthes

 

check in the back of your manual, both of ours say 6 monthes...

 

1/2 year here also..........That's the normal......But I did see it go as high as two years also........Mostly near the end when the need to clear-out for new year model comming to the dealers..........Caper........

 

That link was for Great Britain. It's only 6 months in the U.S. and Canada. I just got mine and it's still on the trailer, so I know what's current. I never heard of them offering an extended warranty as a promotion either, but anything is possible.

 

Ahh, that explains it.

 

Six months on ours. Of course I took one in for some work at six months and 2 days. But the dealer still got it covered.

 

About 3 months ago polaris was offering 2 years on any 2008 ATV, I'm in Ontario, Canada.
I'm not sure if they still offer it.
