I like the Glacier plow and Warn winch. You can get a fairlead made for plowing with a big roller on the bottom so It doesn't bend the cable as much. Another use for a winch is to "jack up" an ATV with it. One of my friends knocked his tire halfway off and it was flopping around. I hung a ****** block in a tree with my tow rope and used that to winch his quad up far enough to take the wheel off and put the tire back on.

While I agree that, at least I believe, that Warn is a premier leader in the winching arena. What is wrong with the Polaris setup? If it is reliable and does what a winch is supposed to do why not save yourself a couple of bucks? With the money left over buy yourself another mod! But then again I am new to this.
