Title says it all....stripped the drain plug, tried to remove with easy out, and it snapped in a 1/2 second....now it is stuck in there pretty good.
If I were to drill a new hole right next to the existing drain plug, would I hit anything? I'd keep it at the same position so the 3 or 4 o'clock fluid filling technique works, but move it toward the outside of the bike some?
Any ideas?

wow thats sound like what i did on something totally differnt. i would bet there is something in the way of drilling a another hole maybe. try to look at a parts break down of one or maybe someone w/ extensive knowledge of one of them will know for sure.

Sounds like a bad day bud. Yes he means it has to be the same distance from the edge of the hub where the cap screws on. Every time i filled the fluid up i would put a little dab of antiseise on the threads.
