Pulled plug on this yesterday to grind down, as my '06 plug had wear also and I had to grind it down. This '08 plug has a magnetic tip, and still appears too long. Plug tip full of what looks like assemby lube. No miles on this thing yet as I wanted to address few things before getting out on trails. Doubt they put lube on plug, must be coming off trans. chain?? Any others like this? Anyone find out why this plug contacts chain? Supposed to be a tensioner? Why hasn't it been shortened? Metal on metal just doesn't sit right...inside transmission...you guys???
