Bear in mind I'm cheap, but I have found 50 cents worth of Velcro sticky tape to be ideal for mounting a GPS on the pod.

I agree with Wenty. RAM mounts are great! I have one for my Garmin Legend GPS. I had to piece three different pieces together (handlebar mount, holder and stem) but it works great. Never moves and holds the GPS in solid. I have put it through hell and had no issues.

I have a RAM mount made just for my model of Garmin GPS and it works great. It snaps right in. One piece goes on the handlebar with a U-bolt and the rest pops on with a thumbscrew to hold it on. You can adjust the angle and position quite a lot. I swing mine over next to the speedometer. It has a big hole in the back for the power cord that plugs into the cigarette lighter outlet. Once you have the base on it only take a few seconds to put the rest on or take it off. They make mounts for about 30 different NUVI models. http://www.ram-mount.com/ramgps.htm
