Replaced front shaft now i have no speedo

Default Replaced front shaft now i have no speedo

I have a 99 sportsman 500 last week i replaced a front shaft and now my speedo dosn't work the display for the hrs work thats it, is there a easy cheap fix for this, also i'm replacing a rear shaft what is the tork spec's in ft lb for the outer shaft nut, thank you for any help on this

I'll take a wild guess and say there is either a speed sensor or wiring that you damaged/disturbed or a connector that is disconnected if it started right after you worked on it.

DITTO what HIGHOCTANE posted,plus rear shaft nut torque 100 foot pounds!
