An Introduction

Howdy everyone, Sultan here. 52 year old male in the state of wisconsin. Dells area to be specific. I've had quads for most of my life but never rode like I do since getting my sportsman. My last one was a 660 raptor, it was a fast bike, to fast lol, when I sold that I hadn't planned on buying another. That changed when a friend bought a 500 sportsmsn . First time I rode it, I knew I had to have one.
I am lucky in that sense, I have 5 acres nestled between 2 gravel pits. I have permission to access about 80 more acres surrounding me. So far this summer I have cut about 10 miles of trails thru it all. The pits are a riot, mostly sand, with plenty of hills and both have straight aways of 3/4 quarter of a mile or better. I ride everyday, when I get home from work I usually go out for an hour, then before setting it away, the wife and I will go out for a nice ride. She surprised me, all my other bikes she would stay away from, this one she loves just sitting on the back and riding. Have been to Black river falls a couple of times and averaged 150 miles a day or better, not a peep out of her, in 3 days there we put on 540 miles and she wanted to stay another day and ride. My riding buddy and his wife are the same, lol he had a yamaha 400 or 450 I think, came out a couple of weekends rode mine a few times and went and bought himself a 2008 800 sportsmanx2 Have been looking for a club, but so far the only club was a ***** to the wall club, which is nice but when the wifes go, we like to take our time and enjoy the scenery. God bless Wisconsin, how many places do you know that you can be riding and have a black bear cross the road in front of you, it was awesome. lol I didn't mean to make this a book, happy trails anyone around this area, post and I will answer

Thanks everybody, You can be sure I'll be here every morning early. I like the way everyone pitches in when a question is asked. Hands on type of guy here, and usually just jump in and start tearing it apart, trial by error fixing method, lol well with Polaris that could get costly, so its great to be able to come to narrow down the problem. Thanks again,
Sultan

Welcome Sultan,
Man I wish I could just go riding from where I live Vs. trailing
mine to legal riding areas. This weekend coming back from
a 3hr drive, just alot to deal with at times as it limits how
many times I can go ATV'ng. But all of that aside, I really try
to make it all worth it.
WELCOME my FRIEND!
