it may not always be that high , but yeh when it is there is no way to pull it in or out of gear and having to hold the brake and shut it down. i guess it is time to send it back to the dealer and see what there diagnosis will be..thanks for all your input and i will keep you posted if they solve the problem..

Good point! I haven't searched. Have you found a known good copy?
Do you know how to interface laptop with the ECM? Does the ECM have a serial port or something similar? I haven't looked at it.
