Yes you did, and thank you very much. I have a welder friend who can cut and weld a plate on their if I have trouble with mine.

: I agree with mtpockets, I've been using syn. rope with a hawse fairlead for the last three winters with no issues. Just train yourself not to "suck" it up so tight when raising blade and you should'nt have any problems with either rope or cable.

I have a 10 foot section of synthetic rope that has been going strong for over two winters now. I broke two steel ropes in one season before replacing it with this one.
